La Virgen de Guadalupe en La Suprema Tortilleria

Last summer, in the colonia Camino Verde, one of my favorite mural interventions appeared on the facade of La Suprema Tortilleria. The group Colectivo Versus covered the walls with two enormous ears of corn in the style of scientific illustration. Linking the Virgin of Guadalupe and Pachamama, the collective painted the Virgin as a corn mother.

In his first blog entry, Raúl Cuevas talks about the process of creating this amazing work.
