Walking out of Playas on Saturday to catch a taxi, we were overrun by dozens of bicyclists out for a ride through the city. Everybody's promoting cycling these days in TJ, from the Paseo de Todos which happens on the first Friday of the month, to Tijuaneando en Bici, cyclists are banding together to change the way our culture views the bicycle. Just last month, Tijuana hosted a conference on urban mobility in TJ, “Horizontes 2020-2030,” sponsored by a Paseo de Todos partner, Tijuana’s Metropolitan Planning Institute.
